Every fall, the fashion world introduces a new season of colors, silhouettes and trends. But there’s something I always keep in mind when I’m buying for Wildflower:
Not every fall trend belongs in Southwest Florida.
What looks wonderful layered for a crisp autumn day in New York, Paris or Milan may not make sense for our lifestyle in Naples. And even when a trend works for our climate, it still has to work for the women I dress.
That’s where the editing comes in.
When I go to market, I’m certainly paying attention to what’s new. I look at the important colors of the season, changes in silhouette, new fabrics and the direction my European designers are taking. But I’m also thinking about you.
Oversized silhouettes are a perfect example. They’ve been an important direction in European fashion for several seasons, but I know that many of you prefer clothing with a little more shape and definition. So rather than buying into a trend simply because it’s fashionable, I look for the pieces that offer something new while still feeling beautifully wearable.
This fall, I’ve curated a collection that celebrates updated classics, rich color, soft plaids, and beautiful textures.
So rather than showing you everything fashion says you should be wearing this fall, I thought I would share the trends I chose for Wildflower—a thoughtful balance of what’s new and what I know you’ll love.
There’s something wonderful about a classic piece that feels new again. This fall, we’re seeing familiar wardrobe favorites refreshed through beautiful fabrics, subtle details, and updated silhouettes.
Plaid is one of those patterns that always feels right for fall, but this season I’m especially drawn to its softer interpretation.
Subtle combinations of color and beautifully blended patterns give plaid a refined, understated elegance. It’s a lovely way to introduce a little autumn character into your wardrobe without feeling too traditional or too heavily dressed for our Florida lifestyle.
One of my favorite directions this season is the use of texture. Richly textured knits and unexpected fringe details bring dimension, softness, and personality to familiar silhouettes.

Color is always one of the things I look forward to most when buying new collections. This fall, I’m loving the richness of earthy browns, olive, and navy, with beautiful pops of orange or red to bring a little energy and excitement.
To balance these deeper tones, I’ve chosen soft neutrals in off-white, beige, and grey, along with touches of soft pink.
